PRE PROFESSIONAL COMPANY (Pre Pro) is ACT II & The Arkansas Repertory Theatre’s audition-only performance class featuring the top high school-age singers, dancers, and actors in the area. This small company of pre-professional performers will meet weekly for advanced training and rehearsals. Throughout the duration of the course, students will explore challenging musical theatre solo/ensemble repertoire, advanced scene work, the business of the industry, audition & college prep, TV/Film Acting, and host special masterclasses featuring guest artists from the entertainment industry.
Pre Pro company members will be cast in the Argenta Community Theater’s mainstage season production of Bring It On: The Musical, running in September 2023. All students in the Pre-Pro Company will be cast in Bring it On. However, the fall production will require further auditions for specific roles. Note: while encouraged, participation in Bring It On is NOT required to participate in the spring course.
